GAGETHER

Calendar integration privacy

Google permission includes viewing, creating, changing and deleting events on calendars you own. GAGETHER uses it only to add selected events and check duplicates.

Google Calendar connection is optional. You can browse GAGETHER without connecting.

After granting permission, you must click “Add to my primary calendar” to create an event. The title, description, start, end, source links and a deduplication identifier are sent to Google. We do not invite attendees or change or delete existing personal events. Duplicate checks read only the specific event ID created by GAGETHER.

Access tokens are held only in the current page’s memory, never on GAGETHER servers, in cookies or in local storage. You may need to reconnect after closing or refreshing the page. We do not collect your calendar list or full schedule. Google API data is not used for advertising, sale or AI model training.

Saved events remain in your Google account. Later changes on this site are not synced automatically. Date-only events do not receive invented times.

Revoke access with the connection button or in your Google account’s connections settings. Revoking access does not remove saved events; delete those in Google Calendar if desired.

“Review and save in Google” opens Google’s event editor without granting GAGETHER calendar access. Review saving and reminder settings there.
